As we enter the holidays and reflect on ways to give back in our current moment of crisis, we’re proud to announce that we’re teaming up with local schools to start e-mentoring and tech tutoring programs in order to foster leadership and development training for underserved youth.
The LiveVox Executive Leadership Team in conjunction with the Community Outreach Planning Committee is excited to announce opportunities to positively impact our communities through the LiveVox Community Outreach Program. We now have ‘Community Outreach Captains’ in India, the US, and Colombia working with our newly-formed Community Planning committee to identify local schools and organizations to partner with to focus our volunteering and donations.
Progress is ongoing to establish volunteering in India and Colombia. Meanwhile, we are starting volunteer efforts in the Americas now partnering with a nationally recognized Atlanta-based organization, the Eastlake Foundation. Eastlake serves over 1800 underserved students in the Atlanta community and allows us to leverage their existing infrastructure to immediately start LiveVox employee virtual mentoring and tutoring underserved students. We will also provide funding to equip students with WiFI hotspots and Chromebooks so they have access to learning content and virtual learning opportunities.
We’re thrilled to announce this new opportunity for us to give back to the communities where we live and work despite having to be at a safe distance. The opportunity comes at a time when so many parents and students face unprecedented strain amid the pandemic. Our program is just getting underway and we can’t wait to see how our new mentees will develop and grow in the LiveVox Way.
